Relativity Education Professional Certification Programs to come to Curaçao !

The Curaçao Film Institute is excited to announce the commencement of the Relativity Education Professional Certification Programs on Curaçao in March of 2016.

Relativity Education offers the first [and only] programs of their kind created with a major Hollywood studio. Aimed at a specific niche of the film, performing arts or electronic music markets, these professional development courses bring up-to-date standards front and center for students. Building on previous experience, programs offer a practical platform for new and complimentary skills – bridging the gap between artistry and industry.

March’s certification programs (56 hours of study, Ages 18+) are designed to instill best practices and introduce processes of each department – providing attendees with essential skills necessary for employment on professional sets. Specified and cutting edge technologies, communication systems, and lingo are central to curriculum taught by professionals who have ample experience in the field. Certifications for March’s session are offered in Grip & Electric and On Location Production Coordinating.

The workshops will be offered for a nominal administrative fee to Curacao residents with experience, or an interest, in working in Film and TV production. The workshops will be made possible in part due to a generous contribution from the Prins Bernhard Culture Fund Caribbean Territories.
